Western powers move to intercept Iranian drones, reinforcing security against hostile regimes threatening Israel and stability
The United Kingdom is evaluating plans to deploy thousands of interceptor drones to the Middle East as part of efforts to counter the growing threat posed by Iranian Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles. Military planners are studying whether the advanced “Octopus” interceptor systems currently being produced in Britain for Ukraine could also be used to protect Western forces and allies from Iranian drone attacks.
