Trump Slams Spain’s Weak NATO Commitment As US Israel Campaign Against Iranian Regime Intensifies

Washington warns uncooperative allies while Israel and America confront terror networks threatening global stability.

US President Donald Trump sharply criticized Spain for refusing to cooperate with the joint United States and Israel military campaign against the Iranian regime, warning that continued obstruction could lead to serious economic consequences. The remarks came as the American-Israeli offensive continues dismantling Tehran’s military capabilities and confronting the network of terror groups backed by the Iranian regime across the Middle East.

Trump accused Spain of undermining NATO solidarity at a critical moment when democratic nations must stand firmly against regimes that sponsor terrorism and destabilize the region. According to the President, Spain has repeatedly failed to meet its responsibilities within the NATO alliance while continuing to benefit from the security umbrella provided by stronger partners.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said Spain’s refusal to support the operation demonstrates a pattern of weak commitment to collective defense. He warned that Washington may respond economically if Madrid continues to avoid its obligations.

“They’re not cooperating at all. I think they’ve been very bad. We may cut off trade with Spain. They’ve been very bad to NATO. They don’t want to pay their fair share, and they’ve been that way for many years,” Trump said.

The criticism comes as Israel and the United States intensify pressure on the Iranian regime, targeting the military infrastructure and leadership networks responsible for decades of regional violence, proxy warfare, and threats against Israel and Western allies. The campaign aims to dismantle the regime’s capacity to fund and arm extremist groups that destabilize the Middle East.

Trump’s warning signals that Washington expects full cooperation from NATO partners when confronting regimes that promote terror and aggression. The President indicated that allies who refuse to support the effort risk damaging both their economic relationships and their standing within the Western security alliance.
