Trump Signals Iran War Will End When Mission Achieved As US-Israel Offensive Cripples Tehran’s Military Power

Trump signals decisive endgame as US-Israel campaign dismantles Iran’s military capabilities and terror network.

US President Donald Trump said Friday that he would determine the end of the war against Iran based on when he personally believes the mission has been accomplished. Speaking during an interview with Fox News Radio, Trump declined to give a fixed timeline for the conflict, saying the war would end when he feels “in my bones” that the objectives have been achieved.

Trump indicated that the war is progressing rapidly in favor of the United States and its allies. While he suggested the conflict may not last long, he emphasized that only he would ultimately decide when the campaign concludes. The administration has previously issued mixed assessments about the war’s duration, with some officials indicating it could last from several days to several months depending on operational developments.

During the interview, Trump expressed strong confidence in the strength of the US military and dismissed concerns about potential shortages of weapons or munitions. He stated that American forces possess unmatched technology and firepower and insisted the military has virtually unlimited ammunition available for the campaign.

Trump also noted that he continues to consult with senior national security officials while overseeing the conflict. Among those advising him are Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance. The White House later confirmed that the operation against Iran would continue until its strategic objectives are fully achieved.

White House spokesperson Anna Kelly stated that Operation Epic Fury will remain active until Iran no longer poses a military threat. The operation has focused on dismantling Iran’s military capabilities and weakening the regime’s ability to threaten regional stability.

Earlier this week, Trump told reporters that Iranian military capabilities have already suffered devastating damage from the US-Israel campaign. He stated that Iran has effectively lost its naval strength, air power, and operational command systems as a result of the ongoing strikes.

During a rally in Kentucky, Trump reiterated that the United States must “finish the job” against Iran, arguing that the campaign has already inflicted unprecedented damage on Iranian targets. He said the scale of destruction has been so extensive that the Iranian leadership was caught completely off guard.

In a separate interview with Axios, Trump added that the campaign has progressed faster than expected and that the amount of damage inflicted on Iranian military infrastructure exceeds initial projections. According to Trump, the strikes have been so comprehensive that there are now very few strategic targets remaining.
