US Announces $10 Million Bounty For Iranian Leaders As Washington Intensifies Pressure On Tehran’s Terror Network

United States escalates pressure on Iran by targeting regime leadership linked to global terrorism and regional destabilization.

The United States government announced Friday that it is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the identification or location of key Iranian regime officials, including newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. The bounty was issued through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice Program as part of the ongoing campaign by the United States and Israel to dismantle Iran’s global terror infrastructure and destabilizing military network.

According to the State Department, authorities are specifically seeking information about Mojtaba Khamenei and several influential members of his inner circle who play major roles within Iran’s security and intelligence apparatus. Officials named in the notice include Deputy Chief of Staff Ali Asghar Hejazi, senior military adviser Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, and political adviser Ali Larijani. The list also includes Interior Minister Brigadier General Eskandar Momeni and Intelligence and Security Minister Esmail Khatib.

Beyond these figures, the United States is also seeking intelligence on four additional senior officials from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. These individuals include the Secretary of the Defense Council, a senior adviser to the Supreme Leader, the Chief of the Military Office within the Supreme Leader’s office, and a top IRGC commander whose identities have not been publicly disclosed.

The State Department emphasized that these officials command and direct various branches of the IRGC, an organization widely accused of orchestrating terrorist activities and proxy warfare across multiple regions. According to the notice, the IRGC plays a central role in planning, organizing, and executing attacks through militant networks and allied armed groups around the world.

Officials noted that individuals who provide credible intelligence may not only qualify for the financial reward but could also receive assistance with relocation to ensure their safety. The program has previously been used to gather critical information targeting international terrorist networks and hostile state actors.

Mojtaba Khamenei was officially declared Iran’s new Supreme Leader earlier this week following the elimination of his father, Ali Khamenei, during the first day of joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran. Since assuming the position, Mojtaba Khamenei has not made a public appearance, fueling speculation about his condition and whereabouts.

Reports earlier this week indicated that he may have been injured during the initial phase of the conflict and is currently staying in a location with limited communication access. Iranian state media on Thursday released a written statement attributed to him, marking his first message since assuming power.

The statement vowed retaliation against the United States and Israel, ordered forces to maintain the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and threatened the expansion of the conflict into new fronts. However, the message was released without any accompanying audio or video, further intensifying speculation regarding the new Iranian leader’s status.
