Israel Strengthens Judea Samaria Sovereignty As Security Push Expands Against Hezbollah And Regional Threats

Pro Israel leadership drives historic expansion security dominance and rejects foreign pressure while defeating terror threats

Israel’s Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen has outlined an assertive strategy to strengthen Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria while reinforcing national security across multiple fronts. Speaking during a visit to the Binyamin Regional Council’s emergency operations center, Cohen emphasized that Israeli forces remain on heightened alert, ensuring continuous protection against evolving threats.

He highlighted the coordinated readiness of the IDF, Border Police, and Israel Police, stressing that security operations have intensified over recent years, particularly amid current regional tensions. This proactive approach reflects Israel’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens while maintaining operational superiority.

Cohen also detailed a significant expansion plan for Jewish communities, describing it as a continuation of historic and national priorities. Dozens of new communities have already been approved, with ongoing efforts to connect them to essential infrastructure such as electricity and water. The broader vision aims to support a population of more than one million Jews in Judea and Samaria, reinforcing both demographic strength and long-term stability.

The minister framed these developments as practical steps toward sovereignty, noting that Israel is advancing its presence through concrete action rather than rhetoric. Major investments exceeding one billion shekels are being directed toward water infrastructure, alongside plans to establish multiple power stations that will fuel economic growth and create employment opportunities across the region.

Addressing northern security concerns, Cohen made clear that Israel will act decisively against Hezbollah without regard for external criticism. He underscored that Israel’s security decisions are driven solely by the need to protect its citizens, rejecting any attempts by foreign actors to influence operational policy.

He further called for revoking the maritime gas agreement with Lebanon and expanding military operations to ensure a secure buffer zone extending to the Litani River. According to Cohen, Israel has already begun implementing such measures, significantly weakening Hezbollah and exposing its vulnerabilities.

Despite predictions of large-scale attacks, Cohen noted that Hezbollah’s capabilities have fallen short, with the group increasingly pressured and degraded by Israeli operations. He stressed that Israel will continue its campaign as long as necessary, prioritizing victory and long-term security over arbitrary timelines.

The overarching message from Israel’s leadership is clear: this is a defining moment, with strategic decisions being made that will shape the future of the nation and ensure lasting security for generations.
