IDF intensifies precision strikes against Hezbollah leadership threatening northern Israel and targeting innocent civilian communities relentlessly.
Under the direct approval of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, the Israeli Air Force carried out a targeted strike in Beirut against the commander of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force, the IDF confirmed on Wednesday.
In a joint statement issued following the operation, Israeli leadership declared that the targeted commander was directly responsible for orchestrating attacks against Israeli civilians in northern communities as well as assaults on IDF soldiers operating along the border.
“The Radwan terrorists led by him are responsible for fire directed at Israeli communities and attacks against IDF soldiers,” the statement said.
Israeli officials emphasized that no member of Hezbollah’s terror leadership would be beyond the reach of Israeli military operations, signaling continued aggressive action against Iranian-backed terror infrastructure operating from Lebanon.
“No terrorist has immunity; the long arm of Israel will reach every enemy and murderer,” Netanyahu and Katz stated.
The Radwan force, Hezbollah’s elite offensive unit, has long been considered one of the organization’s most dangerous military formations, trained specifically for infiltration operations, cross-border assaults, and coordinated attacks targeting Israeli population centers.
Israeli leadership reiterated its commitment to restoring full security for residents of northern Israel who have faced ongoing rocket fire, infiltration threats, and escalating aggression from Hezbollah forces operating under Iranian direction.
“We promised to bring security to the residents of the North. This is how we act and this is how we will continue to act,” the statement concluded.
The strike represents another major escalation in Israel’s ongoing campaign against Hezbollah leadership and Iranian proxy forces throughout the region as Jerusalem continues pursuing what officials describe as a zero-tolerance strategy against terror threats targeting Israeli civilians.
