Likud Surges Ahead: New Polls Show Netanyahu’s Bloc Strengthening as Israelis Rally Behind Trump-Led Peace Deal

Two major polls reveal Likud’s sharp rise and overwhelming Israeli support for Trump’s peace plan to end the Gaza war.

Israel’s political landscape is shifting decisively to the right, with two new polls released Thursday showing a surge in support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party and a strong endorsement of U.S. President Donald Trump’s ceasefire and hostage-release agreement.

According to a Channel 13 News poll, if elections were held today, Likud would win 27 Knesset seats — four more than the previous survey — reaffirming Netanyahu’s leadership as the dominant political force in Israel. Naftali Bennett’s new party follows with 23 seats, while Yair Golan’s “The Democrats” trail at 10.

Otzma Yehudit and Shas each capture 9 seats, United Torah Judaism 7, and Yesh Atid, Yisrael Beytenu, and Ra’am secure 6 apiece. The Yashar, National Unity, and Religious Zionist parties are projected to receive 4 seats each, while Yoaz Hendel’s Reservists and Balad fail to cross the electoral threshold.

By blocs, the numbers reflect a tightening race — the coalition stands at 56 seats, the opposition at 53, and the Arab parties at 11, signaling momentum for the right-wing bloc though just shy of an outright majority.

In a decisive show of unity, 82% of Israelis back President Trump’s agreement to end the war and bring home the hostages, while only 7% oppose the plan — underscoring Trump’s renewed popularity and Israel’s faith in U.S.-Israeli strategic cooperation.

A separate Channel 14 poll magnifies Likud’s growing dominance, projecting 34 seats for Netanyahu’s party, followed by Bennett with 16, Yisrael Beytenu with 13, and The Democrats and Shas with 11 each. United Torah Judaism secures 8, Otzma Yehudit and Yashar 6 each, and Religious Zionist, Ra’am, and Hadash-Ta’al 5 apiece. Blue and White, Yesh Atid, and Balad fail to cross the threshold entirely.

Analysts say the data reflect public confidence in Netanyahu’s steadfast wartime leadership and Israel’s gratitude toward Trump’s role in securing peace and saving Israeli lives. The polls paint a clear picture: the Israeli right is ascendant, and the nation is uniting behind strength, security, and sovereignty.
