“Netanyahu: ‘Trump Makes Peace — The Nobel Committee Only Talks About It’”

Prime Minister Netanyahu slams the Nobel Committee, declaring that President Trump, not politicians in Oslo, is the one truly making peace happen.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply criticized the Norwegian Nobel Committee on Friday after it announced that U.S. President Donald J. Trump would not receive the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize, despite his central role in brokering the historic Israel–Hamas ceasefire and hostage release agreement.

“The Nobel Committee talks about peace. President Donald Trump makes it happen,” Netanyahu wrote in a pointed statement shared across social media. “The facts speak for themselves. President Trump deserves it.

Netanyahu’s remarks echo the sentiments of Israeli officials and hostage families who credit Trump with accomplishing what many thought impossible — ending a brutal conflict, rescuing captives, and setting a new precedent for Middle East diplomacy.

While the Nobel Committee awarded the prize to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, Israeli leaders and global observers continue to hail Trump as “the true Peace President”, whose hands-on diplomacy reshaped the region and reaffirmed America’s standing as a force for stability.

For Israel, Netanyahu’s message was clear: real peace is measured not by prizes, but by lives saved and freedom restored.
