Saudi Arabia has expelled Iran’s military attaché, his assistant, and three embassy staff, ordering them to leave within 24 hours after declaring them persona non grata. The decision follows continued Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi territory, marking a sharp escalation in regional tensions.
Since the start of the conflict involving Israel and the United States, Saudi Arabia has faced repeated attacks, with most projectiles intercepted. Some strikes even targeted sensitive sites such as the US Embassy in Riyadh, underscoring the seriousness of Iran’s aggressive posture toward neighboring states.
Riyadh issued a strong warning that continued attacks would carry significant consequences, signaling that diplomatic patience is rapidly eroding.
