Dozens of military bulldozers arrive in Israel following Trump admin. approval

Massive Delivery of Armored Equipment, Including D9 Bulldozers, Arrives for IDF Ground Forces.

In a major logistical milestone, dozens of armored D9 bulldozers and additional heavy equipment destined for the IDF Ground Forces were unloaded on Wednesday at Haifa Port as part of an extensive military procurement initiative. The delivery was coordinated by a joint operation involving the Ministry of Defense (MoD) procurement delegation in the United States, the IDF’s Planning Wing, and the Procurement Directorate’s International Transport Unit.

Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, Director-General of the Ministry of Defense, personally received the shipment at the port. The heavy equipment was swiftly transferred onto dozens of trucks from the Emun Directorate and the IDF Technological and Logistics Directorate, and is now en route to receive armor upgrades before operational deployment.

The arrival marks part of a historic scale-up in military logistics. Since the outbreak of the current conflict, Israel has received over 100,000 tons of military supplies via 870 cargo flights and 144 maritime shipments, constituting the largest airbridge in Israeli history.

Maj. Gen. Baram emphasized the strategic importance of the delivery:
“The shipment of the D9 bulldozers is part of a comprehensive force buildup program, including munitions and weapons systems worth billions of shekels, approved by the U.S. administration and procured by Israel’s Ministry of Defense.” He noted that recent weeks have seen a continuous influx of cargo ships and aircraft, reinforcing IDF readiness across multiple fronts.

He further stressed the long-term vision behind the buildup:
“We must continue intensifying our force buildup—both to meet the IDF’s operational demands in this war and to prepare for the strategic challenges of the coming decade.”

The delivery underscores the depth of U.S.-Israel defense cooperation and highlights the logistical infrastructure supporting Israel’s evolving battlefield needs.
