First live performance of Ribo and Shmuel’s hit duet set for Bethel Woods

Yamim Baim: A Historic Night of Jewish Music and Unity at Bethel Woods. The star-studded concert will include the first-ever live performance of Kol Pa’am Mehadesh, Ribo and Shmuel’s brand-new duet that has already struck a chord across Jewish communities worldwide.

On August 7 (13th of Av), just hours before Shabbos Nachamu, thousands are expected to gather at the iconic Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in upstate New York for a landmark outdoor concert celebrating Jewish pride, soul, and connection.

The event, titled Yamim Baim, will feature a full-length performance by Ishay Ribo, one of Israel’s most beloved and spiritually resonant musical voices. Joining him on stage will be Hasidic music legend Avraham Fried, the soul-stirring ensemble Zusha, and rising star Shmuel, creating a powerful lineup that blends tradition with fresh inspiration.

A highlight of the evening will be the first-ever live performance of “Kol Pa’am Mehadesh”, the heartfelt new duet by Ribo and Shmuel that has already touched hearts across Jewish communities worldwide.

“A prayer from a restless heart, to lean on Hashem with full trust,” says Shmuel.
Ribo adds, “Its words, inspired by King David, carry a sweetness and honesty that belong to these days of nechama—of comfort—and gratitude for the miracles happening for Am Yisrael.”

A Moment of Music, Meaning, and Nechama

The timing of the concert is deeply significant. Held the Thursday after Tisha B’Av, the event marks a transition from mourning to hope, leading into Shabbos Nachamu, the traditional Shabbat of comfort. As families and groups journey to the Catskills for the weekend, Yamim Baim offers a perfect opportunity to gather, reflect, and celebrate together.

Set against the lush, historic backdrop of Bethel Woods—the original site of Woodstock—concertgoers will enjoy an uplifting evening under the stars, infused with Jewish spirit, gratitude, and unity.
