There is only one Land of Israel – the complete land

From His Hospital Bed, Moshe Zar Urged Future Generations to Uphold the Mission of Settling All of Eretz Yisrael

In a heartfelt message recorded months before his passing, Moshe Zar, a pioneering figure of the Samaria settlement movement, delivered a final plea to his family and the broader nation: never abandon the sacred task of settling and redeeming the entirety of the Land of Israel.

From his hospital bed, Zar—whose name became synonymous with land acquisition and Jewish resilience in Judea and Samaria—reaffirmed his unwavering belief in Eretz Yisrael Hashlema, the vision of a complete and undivided homeland. With resolute clarity, he called upon future generations to carry the torch of his life’s mission and continue building the land in every corner of the country.

Minister Orit Strock, who shared the moving video message, paid tribute to his legacy:

“Moshe Zar, a man of the Land of Israel and a hero of Israel, has parted from us. He ascended and was elevated—from the Land of Israel below to the Land of Israel above. With God’s help, we will continue in his path.”

Zar’s final words now serve not only as a farewell, but as a call to action—a moral and national inheritance passed on to those who still walk the land he loved, defended, and helped reclaim.
