“Remove the Gloves and Crush the Enemy”: Bereaved Families Slam Netanyahu’s Decision to Continue Aid to Gaza

Despite pleas from grieving families, Prime Minister Netanyahu defends ongoing humanitarian aid to Gaza, insisting Israel’s war is guided by international law — and will end only with Hamas’s total collapse.

Jerusalem | July 22, 2025
In a searing clash of national pain and government policy, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a heartfelt plea from bereaved Israeli families to immediately cut off all humanitarian aid — including electricity and water — to Gaza.

The request, issued by Hagvura Forum, representing families who lost loved ones in the current war, urged the Prime Minister to “remove the gloves” and deal a decisive blow to Hamas. The families argued that every drop of aid sustains the terror group, undermining the very soldiers who gave their lives to destroy it.

⚖️ Netanyahu’s Response: “Our Actions Are Legal — and Relentless”

In a formal letter addressed to the bereaved families, Netanyahu stood firm, stating:

“Our actions are consistent with international law. From day one, our goals have not changed — dismantling Hamas, bringing all our hostages home, and eliminating the threat Gaza poses to Israel.”

He acknowledged their grief and valor:

“Your sons and daughters did not fall in vain. Thanks to their sacrifice, Israel’s eternity is ensured.”

Netanyahu stressed that aid decisions are tactically calculated, not moral concessions:

“We are fighting with strength and determination, using every tool at our disposal, guided by real-time intelligence and battlefield realities.”

🩸 Families to Netanyahu: “Stop Feeding the Enemy Who Butchers Us”

Yehoshua Shani, father of fallen IDF Captain Uri Mordechai and Chairman of the Hagvura Forum, blasted the government’s stance as “immoral and misguided.”

“Our hostages are not being held according to international law. On October 7, Hamas showed no regard for international law. So why are we? Every item that enters Gaza serves as oxygen for terrorists.”

With raw emotion, Shani added:

“Prime Minister, the people are with you. The bereaved families are behind you. Cut off the aid. Remove the gloves. Crush the enemy. Only then will we win, bring back our hostages, and honor our fallen.”

💥 War of Hearts, War of Strategy

This moment has sparked a fierce debate within Israel’s political and military corridors:

  • Does international law require humanitarian aid to terrorists?
  • Can Israel balance moral high ground with total war?
  • Is restraint a strength — or a weakness — when children are held hostage and soldiers fall daily?
