Freed Hostage Agam Berger’s Emotional Plea: ‘Unite to Bring Them Home’

Six months after her release from Hamas captivity, Agam Berger calls on the Jewish people to unite in the sacred mission of redeeming captives and freeing those still held in Gaza.

In a heart‑stirring message of faith and unity, Agam Berger, who was freed from Hamas captivity six months ago, has issued a powerful call to the Jewish people: do not rest until every hostage is home.

The video begins with Berger softly playing the melody to the ancient prayer “Ana Bekoach”, a tune that resonates deeply within Jewish tradition.

“You returned the tune to my life,” she says, “now we still have to return the tune to the lives of those who are in distress and captivity. We must unite to bring them home; there is no bigger mitzvah than redeeming captives. Bring them home.”

Her words draw on the centuries‑old Jewish commandment of pidyon shvuyim—redeeming captives—considered one of the greatest acts of righteousness.

Berger’s plea comes as dozens of Israeli men, women, and children remain in the hands of Hamas in Gaza, enduring unimaginable suffering. Her message serves as a reminder that while she is free, the mission is far from over.
