Netanyahu to Red Cross: “Our Hostages Are Starving — Act Now”

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hamas of deliberately starving hostages in Gaza and demanded the Red Cross deliver urgent food and medical aid, warning the world is witnessing “Nazi‑like crimes” in real time.

Jerusalem — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued an urgent and uncompromising appeal to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to save Israeli hostages being systematically starved by Hamas in Gaza.

Speaking directly with Julien Lerisso, the ICRC’s regional chief, Netanyahu demanded immediate delivery of food and medical treatment to the hostages, many of whom are in critical condition after months of captivity.

“Hamas’s lie of starvation echoes around the world, while the real, systematic starvation is being inflicted on our hostages,” Netanyahu said. “The world cannot stand idly by in the face of these shocking images, reminiscent of Nazi crimes.”

The Prime Minister called on the international community to condemn Hamas and Islamic Jihad, cut all support to them, and enforce international law and the Geneva Convention.

💔 Families’ Desperate Pleas

The emotional plea comes amid horrifying revelations from hostage families.

The family of Alon Ohel told Netanyahu:

“According to testimonies, a 19‑year‑old boy is stitching our son’s wounds with a needle and thread. Alon has lost an eye and his life is in danger. Meanwhile, tons of food and medical supplies are entering Gaza — but not for him. We demand the immediate evacuation of wounded hostages under international supervision. Alon and the others are out of time.”

📹 Chilling Hamas Propaganda Videos

The appeal follows Hamas’s release of a one‑minute propaganda video showing Evyatar David, emaciated and near death, in a narrow tunnel. His family says he has been “deliberately and cynically starved” as part of Hamas’s psychological warfare.

“We are being forced to watch our beloved Evyatar turned into a living skeleton, buried alive,” the family said. “He has days to live in his current condition. The humanitarian aid the world is sending into Gaza must also reach Evyatar — or he will die.”

Evyatar’s sister Yaela posted on Instagram:

“After a night of crying over my brother… I realized the whole world needs to see this. Evyatar’s condition hit me like a million punches to the stomach. ‘Never again’ is now.”

🕯 Hostage Families Forum: “This Is a Holocaust”

The Hostage Families Forum issued a grave warning:

“Our children are enduring a Holocaust. If we don’t get them all out now, they won’t survive much longer.”

⚠️ International Outrage Building

Netanyahu’s demand to the Red Cross comes as pressure mounts globally for Hamas to release the hostages and for aid agencies to ensure humanitarian supplies reach them directly.
