“U.S. Envoy Huckabee Slams Europe’s Palestinian State Push, Backs Trump’s Hardline on Hamas”

U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee rebuked Europe for pressuring Israel while praising Arab states that are holding Hamas accountable, urging the terror group to heed Trump’s warning that it has “no future in Gaza.”

In a sharp diplomatic broadside, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee on Wednesday lashed out at European powers for their escalating push to recognize a Palestinian state, accusing them of targeting Israel while ignoring Hamas’s responsibility for the ongoing war.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Huckabee wrote:

“France, UK, Ireland & Europe blast Israel — but Saudi, Egypt & even Hamas-helper Qatar rightly put pressure on Hamas!”

Huckabee then outlined his vision for ending the war:

“Hostages come home and war in Gaza ends when Hamas listens to Trump when he says ‘Hamas has no future in Gaza.’”

His comments come as Britain and France prepare to formally recognize a Palestinian state in the coming months — a move critics say rewards Hamas terrorism and undermines Israel’s security.

U.S. President Donald Trump has already distanced Washington from London and Paris’s position, saying:

“We never did discuss it. We have no view on that.”

Instead, Trump has focused on humanitarian relief efforts without offering political concessions to Hamas. His administration has pledged $60 million for Israeli-run food centers in Gaza, a plan backed by the European Union but tied strictly to aid distribution rather than political recognition.

Huckabee’s remarks align with Trump’s hardline stance: no recognition of a Palestinian state under current conditions, no concessions to Hamas, and a priority on securing the release of Israeli hostages before ending the war.
