IDF Chief Eyal Zamir announces nearing completion of a decisive military campaign, pledges intensified action against Hamas and unwavering commitment to Israel’s security and hostage recovery.
In a bold and resolute address on Thursday morning, IDF Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, convened a high-level situational assessment with Israel’s General Staff Forum, signaling the culmination of a fierce, multi-front military campaign and unveiling the IDF’s next strategic moves.
“We are engaged in an all-out fight—on every front,” declared Zamir. “Our strikes resonate far beyond our borders. The Middle East hears our message loud and clear.”
The forum reviewed the IDF’s operations across various theatres, with Zamir asserting that the military is entering the decisive final stage of Operation Gideon’s Chariots—a mission he says has not only achieved but surpassed its goals.
“This isn’t theoretical. These are life-and-death decisions. Our duty is to defend our nation, our soldiers, and every Israeli citizen,” he said, emphasizing that moral clarity, integrity, and unwavering purpose guide the IDF’s every move.
Zamir highlighted that Israel now holds the strategic upper hand to reshape its border security reality, particularly in the south and around Gaza. “We will maintain unrelenting pressure. Our responses will no longer be restrained. We will eliminate threats before they materialize, in every arena.”
With Hamas still holding hostages, Zamir issued a powerful pledge: “Our war continues with their freedom in mind. We will exhaust every measure—militarily and operationally—until we bring our people home.”
He concluded by reaffirming a cornerstone of IDF ethos: “The culture of debate, rooted in Jewish history, is vital to our identity. Commanders must speak up, act wisely, and take responsibility—this is where true leadership stands.”
