“Make Noise for Me”: Hamas Hostage Matan Zangauker Seen in New Footage From Gaza

In emotional video seized by IDF forces, hostage Matan Zangauker pleads with his family and friends, urging them to keep fighting for his release as he remains in Hamas captivity since October 7.

The family of Matan Zangauker, kidnapped during the October 7th Hamas massacre, released heart-wrenching new footage of their son on Sunday.

The video, recovered by IDF troops during operations in Gaza, shows Matan addressing his parents with a message of longing and hope:
“I miss you, with G-d’s help, we’ll see each other soon.”

Turning to his friends, Matan urged them not to stay silent:
“To all my acquaintances, all my friends—go out, make a lot of noise like only you know how to, and with G-d’s help, we will see each other again soon.”

For his family, the footage is both a sign of life and a painful reminder of the urgency to bring him and all hostages home.

The Zangauker family’s release of the video is expected to add momentum to growing public pressure on Israel’s leadership to prioritize the safe return of hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza.
