Prime Minister Netanyahu vows that the conquest of Gaza City and the release of Israeli hostages are inseparable goals, marking a decisive phase in the war.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the IDF Gaza Division on Thursday and delivered a dramatic declaration: Israel is entering the final stage of the war.
Standing before the soldiers, Netanyahu announced that he had officially approved the IDF’s operational plans to seize Gaza City and crush Hamas’ remaining strongholds.
“We are at the stage of decision-making,” Netanyahu declared. “I came today to the Gaza Division to approve the plans the IDF presented to me and to the Minister of Defense to take control of Gaza City and defeat Hamas.”
The Prime Minister praised both reserve and active-duty soldiers for their “vital mobilization in defense of the nation.”
In a striking parallel move, Netanyahu revealed he has ordered immediate negotiations for the release of all Israeli hostages, insisting that military victory and humanitarian deliverance are bound together.
“These two things — defeating Hamas and securing the release of all our hostages — go hand in hand,” he emphasized, signaling that Israel’s military triumph will not be separated from the moral obligation to bring its people home.
