Gantz Hits Back at Liberman: “I Brought Hostages Home — With Actions, Not Words”

In a fiery response, Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz slammed Avigdor Liberman, declaring that real leadership is proven through action — pointing to his role in securing the return of Israeli hostages.

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz delivered a sharp counter to Yisrael Beitenu Chairman Avigdor Liberman, after the latter’s recent remarks questioning his record.

“Avigdor, let’s not argue about who did more for the country,” Gantz shot back. “Unlike you, I succeeded in bringing about the return of the hostages — through actions, not words.”

Gantz emphasized his unyielding determination, insisting that he will do “what is right for Israel, even when it is politically difficult and comes at a personal price.”

Taking aim at Liberman’s style of politics, Gantz added:
“Maybe you are addicted to shouting from the stands, but politics is not a football game. Don’t worry about me — worry about the hostages, the soldiers, and the entire nation of Israel.”

His remarks highlight the intensifying political feud within Israel’s leadership as the nation grapples with hostage negotiations and ongoing security threats.
