“The Time for Sovereignty Has Come”: Smotrich & Yesha Leaders Unveil Judea & Samaria Sovereignty Map

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Yesha Council leaders unveiled a bold sovereignty plan for Judea and Samaria, declaring that Israel must reject a Palestinian state and apply full sovereignty to secure its future.

In a dramatic statement Wednesday morning, Minister of Finance and Religious Zionism Party leader Bezalel Smotrich, joined by the Yesha Council leadership, presented the long-awaited map of sovereignty and a set of principles for applying full Israeli sovereignty across Judea and Samaria.

Smotrich declared that the post–October 7th reality leaves no room for ambiguity:

“There is an overwhelming consensus in Israel — absolute opposition to a Palestinian state and support for full Israeli sovereignty. No more partitions, no more Auschwitz borders. Sovereignty over our forefathers’ land is the guarantee of Israel’s future.”

He emphasized sovereignty not only as a historical and biblical right, but as a strategic security necessity to prevent the creation of a terror state overlooking Israel’s population centers.

Yesha Council Chairman Yisrael Ganz echoed the urgency:

“The establishment of a Palestinian state is an existential threat. Forty-five thousand PA soldiers are waiting for orders to attack us. The time to act is now — sovereignty is the only solution.”

Ganz urged the government to seize the moment, citing unprecedented alignment: U.S. backing, Knesset support, and public consensus.

The Sovereignty Plan was presented with the support of regional and municipal leaders from Binyamin, Hebron Hills, Karnei Shomron, Beit Aryeh-Ofarim, Kedumim, Efrat, Givat Ze’ev, Gush Etzion, Ariel, and Ma’ale Adumim, marking a united front for sovereignty.

Their message was clear: “The time for decision has come. The time for sovereignty has come.”
