After the Ramot Junction massacre, Netanyahu vowed to intensify strikes on Hamas, flatten terrorist strongholds, and warned Gaza residents to evacuate ahead of Israel’s ground incursion.
Standing inside the Air Force command center on Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a stark message after a day of bloodshed that saw six Israelis murdered in a terror attack at Jerusalem’s Ramot Junction.
“Two abhorrent terrorists came to a bus stop, shot at a bus, and murdered six of our dear citizens,” Netanyahu said. “We eliminated these terrorists — but that is not enough. Going after their supporters and accomplices is not enough.”
The Prime Minister issued a new directive:
“We will forcefully go after the nests of terrorism. We have already flattened terrorist infrastructure in three refugee camps after evacuating the population. My directive is to do this in additional nests.”
Turning to the war in Gaza, Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s expanding military offensive:
“A few days ago, I promised you that we would bring down the terrorist high-rises in Gaza. This is exactly what we are doing. In the last two days, 50 such high-rises have fallen; the Air Force took them down.”
He made clear that Israel is just getting started:
“All of this is only the introduction, only the beginning of the main intensive operation — the ground incursion of our forces, who are now gathering to enter Gaza City.”
Finally, Netanyahu issued a direct warning to civilians in Gaza:
“Listen to me carefully: You have been warned. Get out of there!”
The Prime Minister’s fiery remarks underscored a dual message: Israel will hunt down terrorists everywhere — from Jerusalem to Gaza — and the war is entering a new, more lethal stage.
