Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fiercely rejected conspiracy theories tying Israel to Charlie Kirk’s murder, honoring the late U.S. conservative leader as a champion of Israel and Judeo-Christian values.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a sharp rebuttal today to rumors that Israel had been behind the shocking assassination of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Quoting Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels, Netanyahu warned how dangerous lies spread quickly:
“Someone has fabricated a monstrous big lie that Israel had something to do with Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder. This is insane. It is false. It is outrageous.”
Netanyahu honored Kirk as “a once-in-a-century talent who defended freedom, America, and our common Judeo-Christian civilization.”
The Prime Minister shared moving details from his personal correspondence with Kirk:
- In a recent letter, Kirk wrote: “One of my greatest joys as a Christian is advocating for Israel and forming alliances with Jews to protect Judeo-Christian civilization.”
- Kirk urged Netanyahu to speak directly to the American people about Israel’s central role in U.S. national security.
- He confided: “The Holy Land is so important to my life that it pains me to see support for Israel slip away.”
Netanyahu noted that Kirk’s support was principled, not blind:
“If Charlie disagreed with a policy of mine, I welcomed it. His suggestions always came from the heart—from his love for Israel and the Jewish people.”
Netanyahu revealed that he had invited Kirk to visit Israel again just weeks before his assassination. He dismissed rumors about Israeli involvement as “disgusting,” hinting they may be fueled by foreign propaganda and Qatari funding.
“Charlie Kirk was a great man, and a great man deserves honor, not lies. Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. May your memory be a blessing.”
U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee echoed Netanyahu’s defense, blasting conspiracy theorists on social media:
“It’s painful to see people back in the U.S. attempt to get clicks & make $$ by making up outrageous lies while exploiting the death of Charlie Kirk, whose impact & character the propagandists will never have.”
