IDF Reveals Nasrallah Hid in Iranian-Built Bunker Before Precision Strike That Ended His Reign of Terror

Israel’s Intelligence Directorate exposed how Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah remained trapped in an Iranian-designed bunker before his elimination in Operation New Order.

Jerusalem — Sept. 27, 2025 — On the anniversary of Operation “New Order”, Israel’s Intelligence Directorate revealed chilling details about the final days of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, confirming that he chose to remain in a fortified bunker built with Iranian technology—a decision that sealed his fate.

According to the Directorate, Nasrallah attempted to orchestrate counterattacks and rebuild Hezbollah’s shattered capabilities in the days following the IDF’s beeper operation and the elimination of senior commander Ibrahim Aqil. Each attempt was foiled, leaving the terror chief increasingly cornered.

Unaware that he was the next target, Nasrallah stayed underground in a highly compartmentalized bunker in Beirut, hidden even from many within Hezbollah’s inner circle. Israeli intelligence, painstakingly gathered over years, enabled the precise identification of the hideout.

The Strike That Changed the Region

On September 27, 2024, at 18:21, the Israeli Air Force, guided by exact intelligence, unleashed 83 bombs in a simultaneous strike that obliterated the bunker. The strike eliminated not only Nasrallah but also Ali Karkhi, commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front, and several other senior commanders.

IAF Commander Tomer Bar said immediately after the operation:

“We will reach them all, continue with the same professionalism, maintain the same composure. We are on the right path.”

A Legacy of Blood

For 32 years, Nasrallah was the undisputed mastermind of Hezbollah’s global terror machine. He directed attacks that killed hundreds of Israelis and civilians worldwide, oversaw kidnappings, rocket barrages, and coordinated operations with Hamas and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps.

On October 8, 2023, the day after Hamas launched its massacre against Israel, Nasrallah threw Hezbollah into the war, bombarding Israeli communities in the north and dragging Lebanon into deeper chaos.

The Iranian Connection

The IDF emphasized that Nasrallah’s bunker itself was a symbol of Tehran’s hand in Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure. Built with Iranian technology, the facility highlighted how deeply Iran had invested in shielding its proxies — only to see Israel’s intelligence unravel it with surgical precision.

A Message to Israel’s Enemies

By eliminating Nasrallah, Israel not only removed a long-standing architect of terror but also delivered a message to Iran and its proxies: no bunker is beyond the reach of Israeli intelligence and air power.
