Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirms Israel is working with President Trump on a bold 21-point plan to crush Hamas, free hostages, and secure a new era of peace in the Middle East.
Fox News pressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday about whether he would approve the U.S. 21-point plan to end the Gaza war—and his answer was clear: Israel is already working hand-in-hand with Washington to seal the deal.
“We are working on it. It has not been finalized yet, but we are working with President Trump’s team as we speak, and I hope we can make it a go. Because we want to free our hostages, and we want to get rid of Hamas rule and have them disarmed, Gaza demilitarized, and a new future set up for Gazans and Israelis, and for the whole region,” Netanyahu declared.
The Israeli leader lavished praise on President Donald Trump, calling him “an incredible ally and friend of Israel. We had nobody like him.” He highlighted Trump’s record of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s eternal capital, sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and authorizing decisive U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities this past June.
Addressing accusations that he “controls Trump,” Netanyahu shot back: “President Trump does what he does because he decides what’s in America’s best interest. I don’t decide a thing for him. He is the most independent and amazing leader I’ve seen in all my years.”
Meanwhile, Axios’ Barak Ravid reported that White House Special Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff and Trump’s senior advisor Jared Kushner are scheduled to meet Netanyahu in New York to iron out final details of the deal.
President Trump himself confirmed to Axios that the talks are in their “final stages,” promising that the deal will not only end the war but also “open the door to a wider peace across the Middle East.”
For Israel, the plan represents the most serious U.S.-backed initiative yet to eradicate Hamas’ terror infrastructure, return abducted Israelis, and anchor regional stability.
