Yesha Leaders Fly to New York: “Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria Is Israel’s True Victory”

A massive Yesha Council delegation of mayors and regional leaders heads to New York to press Netanyahu—and Trump—that Judea and Samaria must be under full Israeli sovereignty.

An unprecedented emergency delegation of Israeli leaders from Judea and Samaria departed for New York on Saturday night, determined to send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a clear and uncompromising message before his crucial meeting with US President Donald Trump: “No terrorist state will be allowed to rise in Israel’s heartland—only sovereignty guarantees victory.”

The high-profile delegation includes Israel Ganz, Chairman of the Yesha Council; Yossi Dagan, head of the Shomron Regional Council; Ariel Mayor Yair Chetboun; and leaders from Karnei Shomron, Efrat, Oranit, Kedumim, and Har Hebron. Together with Yesha CEO Omer Rahamim, they form the strongest united front yet in demanding the application of Israeli sovereignty.

“Yesha’s message is crystal clear,” said Ganz. “Judea and Samaria are inseparable from Israel. The ball is now in Jerusalem. Sovereignty must be declared—this is our historic mission, and we will not stop until it is achieved.”

Dagan added: “Prime Minister Netanyahu must make a historic decision. Victory means sovereignty. The nation expects it. Israel will not compromise on security or survival.”

Other leaders echoed the same theme: terrorism in Gaza and Judea-Samaria is one battlefront, and the only way to secure the future is to apply sovereignty now. “Even with Trump’s opposition, we will build. But sovereignty is non-negotiable,” insisted Ariel’s mayor, Yair Chetboun.

Eliram Azulai of Har Hebron summed up the delegation’s mission: “Europe pushes for a Palestinian state, but sovereignty is Israel’s answer. This is the time to complete victory and ensure Israel’s security for generations.”

Their unified stand underscores a defining moment: Netanyahu is being urged to seize history, defy foreign pressure, and deliver Israel’s true and lasting triumph—sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.
