Russia Pounds Ukraine in 12-Hour Barrage: “Targeted Terror Against Cities”

Moscow unleashed a wave of drones and missiles on Kyiv and other cities, killing at least four and wounding dozens, in what President Zelenskyy condemned as deliberate terror against civilians.

Russia launched a massive drone and missile assault on Ukraine Sunday, striking Kyiv and several other cities in one of the most sustained attacks in recent months.

At least four people were killed in the capital and dozens injured, according to Ukrainian officials.

“A massive Russian attack on Ukraine lasted for more than 12 hours,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a statement. “Savage strikes, a deliberate, targeted terror against ordinary cities.”

The barrage included waves of drones followed by missiles aimed at both civilian infrastructure and population centers, underscoring Moscow’s ongoing campaign to break Ukrainian morale through terror from the skies.

The assault comes as Russia intensifies pressure along the frontlines, while Ukraine continues to plead for stronger Western air defenses to blunt Moscow’s escalating aerial warfare.
