Trump Gives Hamas Ultimatum: 3–4 Days to Accept Israel-Backed Peace Plan or Face “Sad End”

U.S. President Donald Trump announced Hamas has only days to accept his 20-point peace deal, which secures Israel’s demands — hostages freed, Hamas disarmed, and Gaza stripped of terror infrastructure.

The Clock Is Ticking

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, President Donald Trump issued a blunt ultimatum to Hamas: accept the U.S.-brokered peace framework within three to four days or face devastating consequences.

“All of the Arab countries have signed up, the Muslim countries have signed up, Israel’s all signed up,” Trump declared. “We’re just waiting for Hamas. If it’s not, it’s going to be a very sad end.”

Core Terms of the 20-Point Deal

Trump’s plan, already embraced by Israel and key Arab states, demands Hamas’s total surrender of arms and hostages in exchange for a rebuilt Gaza under international oversight:

  • Hostages freed: Hamas must return all 48 remaining hostages — alive and dead — within 72 hours.
  • Disarmament: Complete dismantling of Hamas’s terror and military infrastructure.
  • Amnesty option: Hamas members who renounce violence may decommission weapons or leave Gaza under safe passage.
  • Reconstruction aid: A massive relief and rebuilding operation, with food, medical aid, and infrastructure repair run by neutral international agencies.
  • Governance: Gaza will be managed by a temporary technocratic Palestinian committee, overseen by an international “Board of Peace” chaired by Trump, with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair expected to play a senior role.
  • Future control: Only after reforms will the Palestinian Authority assume governance — with Hamas barred permanently from Gaza’s political future.

Why This Matters for Israel

The plan enshrines Israel’s red lines:

  • No Hamas role in Gaza’s future.
  • Full demilitarization and deradicalization.
  • Hostages finally brought home.
  • A strong U.S.-led international framework that ensures Hamas cannot rebuild.

For Israel, Trump’s ultimatum to Hamas marks a turning point: either surrender and end the war on Israel’s terms, or face complete destruction.
