Science Minister Gila Gamliel declares Hamas’s elimination and Israeli sovereignty as inevitable, hailing Trump’s deal as a path to secure Israel’s victory and regional transformation.
Israel’s Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, and Security Cabinet member Gila Gamliel, delivered a powerful message from the Knesset following Hamas’s latest violation of the ceasefire — making clear that Israel’s resolve has not weakened and that the war will only end when Hamas’s rule is permanently dismantled.
In an exclusive interview with Arutz Sheva – Israel National News, Gamliel praised the IDF’s decisive response to the attack and underscored that the current truce is unlike any previous one.
“The ceasefire’s purpose is to disarm Hamas and demilitarize the Gaza Strip. This is not a temporary pause — it’s a strategic stage toward victory,” she said.
Gamliel emphasized that Israel is steadfastly implementing the five principles adopted by the Security Cabinet to end the war, adding that American partners — including envoy Steve Witkoff, senior adviser Jared Kushner, and Vice President JD Vance — are coordinating closely with Israel to ensure the deal serves Jerusalem’s strategic objectives.
“The deal works in our favor,” she explained. “We receive tangible results, while Hamas gets nothing but empty promises.”
Regarding the return of hostages’ remains, Gamliel voiced confidence that all could still be recovered:
“There is information on the locations of the bodies — we will do everything possible to bring them all home.”
On the broader diplomatic horizon, Gamliel reaffirmed her government’s commitment to restoring Israeli sovereignty across all of the Land of Israel, including Gaza and Judea-Samaria.
“There will be sovereignty. There must be sovereignty. There is no reality without it,” she declared. “President Trump’s plan includes a voluntary emigration clause — and many want to leave. That clause gives us an opening to realize Israel’s national objectives.”
Rejecting claims of American pressure, Gamliel described the relationship with Washington as a partnership, not submission. She credited Prime Minister Netanyahu for leading both the military and diplomatic fronts with precision, isolating Hamas internationally, and securing broad support from regional mediators.
“To lead this, it must be done carefully and without letting anyone sabotage it,” she said.
Turning to Iran, Gamliel warned that the Tehran regime’s downfall is inevitable, pointing to widespread unrest, economic collapse, and public outrage over the regime’s funding of terror instead of basic services.
“The Iranian people will vomit out this regime,” she asserted, revealing that Israel is working with Iranian opposition figures and the exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi toward what she termed the ‘Cyrus Accords’ — a vision for a post-theocracy alliance between Israel and a free Iran.
She credited Netanyahu with neutralizing Iran’s nuclear threat but cautioned that missile and terror networks remain active, demanding ongoing vigilance.
“As long as this regime exists, the war is religious. They want to destroy Israel because we are the living proof of the Bible’s truth. But they will fail — Israel is eternal.”
