After years of anti-Israel rhetoric and antisemitic claims, UN envoy Francesca Albanese faces US sanctions—exposing her bias and moral hypocrisy.
The mask has finally fallen.
Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestinian Rights, lashed out at the United States on Thursday after Washington imposed sanctions on her for spreading anti-Israel propaganda under the guise of “human rights advocacy.”
Speaking from South Africa, Albanese ranted to AFP that the US was using “mafia-style techniques” to silence her. “I cannot go to the US,” she complained, claiming the sanctions froze her assets and impacted her family.
But the facts tell a different story.
Her downfall came not from American intimidation—but from years of relentless antisemitism, anti-Israel incitement, and moral blindness in the face of terror.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the sanctions in July, describing her remarks as “biased and malicious.” Albanese responded by attacking Washington, calling the sanctions “an affront to the United Nations.”
Yet her record speaks volumes.
- In 2022, her antisemitic social media posts accusing the “Jewish lobby” of controlling the United States shocked diplomats and watchdog groups worldwide.
- After Hamas’s October 7, 2023 massacre, in which 1,200 Israelis were butchered and 250 kidnapped, Albanese refused to condemn Hamas. Instead, she justified the terror as “contextual” and “a reaction to Israeli aggression.”
- Since then, she has accused Israel of genocide, likened the Jewish state to Nazi Germany, and even compared Prime Minister Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler—a grotesque inversion of history.
Now, under the banner of her latest report titled “Gaza Genocide: A Collective Crime,” she calls for countries to cut all military, diplomatic, and economic ties with Israel—a move that would effectively reward terrorism and cripple democracy’s only outpost in the Middle East.
Her claim to defend “justice” is nothing but a modern echo of blood libel—cloaked in UN blue.
The United States, under Rubio’s direction, has finally drawn a red line: no more taxpayer-funded platform for hate-mongers posing as human-rights experts. The sanctions freeze her access to US financial systems and restrict travel—a powerful message that defaming Israel is not a diplomatic immunity card.
While Albanese cries “mafia,” her record shows alignment not with the victims of terror—but with the terrorists themselves.
Israel doesn’t need her pity.
The Jewish people have seen greater empires fall for lesser arrogance.
And as history reminds us: those who try to criminalize the State of Israel ultimately expose the corruption within their own souls.
