“Cornered in Rafah: 100 Hamas Terrorists Refuse to Surrender, Demand ‘Dignified Exit’ From Tunnels as IDF Closes In”

Around 100 Hamas terrorists trapped in a Rafah tunnel refuse surrender, vowing only to exit on their own “dignified” terms.

A Palestinian source in Gaza has revealed to Kan News that a hardened group of about 100 Hamas terrorists—cornered deep inside a fortified tunnel system in Rafah—are refusing to surrender as the IDF tightens the noose around them.

These operatives, members of Hamas’s military wing, reportedly told mediators that they will not accept any surrender terms and insist they will only emerge “on their own terms,” in a way they believe preserves their so-called “dignity.”

In reality, they are trapped, isolated, and surrounded—cut off from reinforcements and supplies, with nowhere to run.

According to the source, the group is being commanded by a senior Hamas battalion commander or deputy commander, the highest-ranking terrorist still inside that tunnel complex. His leadership is believed to be the main reason the fighters are clinging to their last shreds of defiance rather than laying down arms.

These remaining operatives are among Hamas’s most entrenched holdouts, hiding in miles of underground passages Israel has relentlessly targeted and neutralized throughout the war. Their refusal to surrender underscores the terror group’s familiar pattern—prioritizing fanatic pride over the lives of Palestinians and gambling with annihilation instead of negotiating reality.

With the IDF controlling the above-ground battlespace, sealing tunnel entrances, and dismantling Hamas’s last strongholds, the standoff in Rafah is shaping up as one of the final chapters of the terror organization’s collapsing military framework.

In the end, “dignity” may be the only thing these terrorists leave the tunnel with—
and even that is unlikely to survive the light of day.
