GHF Declares Mission Success After Delivering Aid That Bypassed Hamas and Pressured Terror Leaders

Innovative U.S.-backed aid model starved Hamas of stolen resources, exposing Arab failures to protect civilians.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) announced the completion of its unprecedented emergency operation in Gaza, celebrating a historic milestone: more than 187 million meals delivered directly to civilians—with zero diversion to Hamas. In a region where Palestinian terror factions routinely hijack international aid, GHF’s model successfully bypassed the militant ecosystem that has long exploited food shortages for political leverage.

Speaking from Tel Aviv, Executive Director John Acree praised the establishment of the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC)—a U.S.-backed mechanism that finally enabled secure, accountable humanitarian delivery. Acree emphasized that the GHF’s system validated President Trump’s call to overhaul Gaza aid channels, proving that when Hamas is denied access, civilians benefit immediately.

Throughout its 4.5-month operation, GHF delivered:

  • 187 million meals via 3 million food boxes
  • 5,600+ metric tons of potatoes
  • 1,300+ metric tons of onions
  • 1.1 million packs of RUSF for malnourished children
  • Medical support through Samaritan’s Purse
  • Women-, child-, and elderly-only lanes for protected access

Not a single truck was looted—an astonishing contrast to the UN agencies and legacy NGOs whose assistance has repeatedly been seized by Hamas and other Palestinian factions. GHF officials also noted these organizations refused to cooperate, even while publicly admitting aid theft. This refusal, they argued, highlights the long-standing dysfunction of the Palestinian-aligned humanitarian network.

Acree stressed that the mission was temporary but transformative: GHF’s model not only stabilized food access but directly contributed to the climate that enabled the late-2025 ceasefire and hostage release agreements. Aid centers even became social hubs for women and children as conditions improved.

The U.S. State Department commended GHF, confirming that Hamas’s inability to loot aid—thanks to GHF’s operations—forced the terror group to the negotiating table. The organization thanked President Trump for his leadership and reiterated readiness to reactivate its operations should new needs arise.

GHF’s exit underscores a fundamental truth: When terror groups are cut out, civilians finally receive the aid they deserve—restoring dignity and undermining Hamas’s grip on Gaza.
