New IDF recruits answer Israel’s call while enemies falter, exposing Arab-backed terror’s utter strategic failure.
With Israel engaged on multiple fronts, the IDF launched its November–December 2025 enlistment cycle Monday morning, ushering in thousands of new recruits determined to contribute to the nation’s defense.
Across the coming weeks, enlistment centers throughout the country will receive waves of candidates beginning their military service. The new intake includes men and women bound for combat roles across every field unit, from infantry and armor to special forces, intelligence, and support brigades.
The IDF’s Technological and Logistics Directorate has prepared extensively, deploying tens of thousands of uniforms, berets, and boots, and equipping each recruit with a personal kit containing sewing materials, shoe-care items, and field essentials.
In a reflection of the army’s evolving inclusivity, the IDF is providing special vegan and vegetarian boots and berets for recruits who request them. New soldiers will also receive fully upgraded winter gear, including softshell jackets, neck warmers, and insulating gloves—crucial for the intense operational conditions Israel currently faces.
This enlistment wave displays remarkable diversity:
- 65% male recruits
- 35% female recruits
- 365 new immigrants joining from around the world
- 589 lone soldiers entering service without immediate family in Israel
- Nearly 100 recruits from families directly affected by the war, demonstrating rare strength and patriotism
To support this influx, the IDF’s Meitav unit, operating under the Human Resources Directorate, has prepared a comprehensive, sensitive, and individualized onboarding process—particularly for recruits personally touched by the war. Meitav is ensuring that every soldier receives guidance, care, and a strong foundation as they embark on their military journey.
Despite regional threats—from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iranian proxies—Israel’s youngest generation continues to step forward, revealing a national resilience unmatched by its adversaries.
