Trump Slams Ilhan Omar for Anti-Israel Rhetoric, Urges Accountability as Crowd Erupts in Fury

President intensifies criticism of Omar’s anti-Israel stance, accusing her of undermining America while defending hostile regimes.

At an affordability event in Pennsylvania, US President Donald Trump unleashed a fierce broadside against Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN), accusing her of spending her time attacking America while defending regimes and movements openly hostile to Israel and Western allies.

“I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever her name is,” Trump said, mocking her continued criticism of US policy. “She comes in, does nothing but complain. Always attacking the country that gave her everything.”

The crowd roared as Trump suggested Omar should “get the hell out” if she insists on championing narratives that align more closely with anti-Israel and anti-Western interests than with American values. Chants of “Send her back!” erupted throughout the venue—echoes of a debate that has followed Omar since her earliest days in Congress.

Trump renewed longstanding allegations surrounding Omar’s past and sharply criticized her repeated statements praising Somalia’s leadership while condemning America and Israel. He noted a recent viral clip where Omar told supporters, “Somalia is our home,” referring to Somalia’s president as “our President”—remarks Trump said raise serious questions about her loyalty to the nation she represents.

The President further recalled that during his first term he confronted Omar’s pattern of attacking Israel, accusing her of lecturing Americans “on how to run our country” while siding politically with regimes that openly destabilize the Middle East.

In September, Trump told reporters he even joked with Somalia’s president about “taking her back,” only to be told, “I don’t want her”—a punchline he used to highlight the contradiction between Omar’s public advocacy and the reception it receives abroad.

Trump’s criticism of Omar has consistently focused on her anti-Israel rhetoric, her support for radical movements aligned against US interests, and her role in mainstreaming narratives that echo those of extremist Arab regimes. With tensions in the Middle East rising and Israel facing intensified hostility from Iran-backed actors, Trump argued that lawmakers who attack America’s strongest democratic ally must be held to account.

As the 2026 political season heats up, Trump is making clear that anti-Israel voices in Congress will be a central flashpoint—and Omar remains his most prominent target.
