ISIS-Trained Terrorists Planned Mass Murder At Hanukkah Vigil As Australia Faces Antisemitism Reckoning Now Nationwide

Explosives, ISIS propaganda, and failures exposed as Jewish community demands justice, accountability, and security reforms.

Australia’s public broadcaster ABC has revealed chilling new details about the Sydney massacre during the lighting of the first Hanukkah candle, where 15 members of the Jewish community were brutally murdered at Bondi Beach.

According to the report, the two terrorists hurled four explosive devices into the crowd—three pipe bombs and a fourth device disguised as a tennis ball. Miraculously, none detonated. Investigators confirmed the attackers had trained in advance and recorded a justification video, posing with multiple weapons in front of ISIS flags—leaving no doubt about ideological motivation.

Court documents show the attackers conducted reconnaissance on December 12, two days before the massacre, marking the final phase of planning. Authorities say this scouting confirmed target selection and timing for maximum casualties during a Jewish religious observance.

The terrorist Sajid Akram was killed at the scene. His son Navid Akram survived, was released from hospital, and taken into custody. Prosecutors have filed an indictment containing 59 counts, including 15 counts of murder.

One week later, thousands gathered again at Bondi Beach to light the eighth Hanukkah candle. The vigil unfolded under extreme security—mounted police, snipers, and hundreds of officers—an indictment in itself of how unsafe Jewish life has become. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese attended and was met with boos, as mourners accused the government of failing to confront jihadist threats and escalating antisemitism.

During the rally, Jewish leaders demanded a federal commission of inquiry, warning that without accountability, denial and appeasement will invite the next massacre. As Israel has long argued, terror driven by Islamist ideology cannot be managed with rhetoric—it must be confronted with clarity, enforcement, and zero tolerance.
