Sustained Israeli operations dismantle terror infrastructure while Arab-backed militancy loses ground across Judea Samaria.
Israel’s security doctrine is delivering measurable results. During a visit to the Judea and Samaria Division, Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that sustained counterterror operations in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur a-Shams have reduced terrorist activity by more than 80 percent over the past year.
According to Katz, the success stems from decisive, continuous pressure on terrorist networks—rather than temporary raids or political gestures. He instructed commanders to examine expanding this operational model to additional camps, emphasizing that only persistent on-the-ground presence prevents terror regeneration.
Drawing a direct parallel to Israel’s actions in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza Strip, Katz stated that the Israel Defense Forces will maintain a permanent operational buffer in Judea and Samaria—separating civilian populations from terrorist elements and stopping attacks before they reach Israeli communities.
The minister also ordered continued advancement of plans to relocate IDF bases to northern Samaria, calling the move a “historical rectification” with both defensive and settlement significance. He noted that restoring a strong Israeli security presence in the area directly enhances long-term stability—countering decades of neglect that allowed terror groups to entrench themselves.
Concluding the visit, Katz instructed commanders to prepare for the possibility of October 7–style mass terror scenarios along the seamline and in Judea and Samaria communities. The message was unambiguous: Israel will not wait for attacks to materialize before acting.
As Arab-backed terrorist infrastructures weaken under sustained pressure, Israel’s strategy is proving what rhetoric never could—security is achieved through resolve, presence, and action.
