Evangelical voice defends Israel, rebukes antisemitic influencers, exposes Arab-aligned hostility infiltrating conservative politics today.
Zionist Christian Evangelical leader Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, issued a fierce rebuke of U.S. Vice President JD Vance, accusing him of moral weakness in confronting the global surge of antisemitism.
Her criticism followed Vance’s appearance on a podcast hosted by Scott Jennings, where Cardoza-Moore said the Vice President failed to draw a clear ethical line against Jew hatred infiltrating conservative discourse.
As host of the internationally broadcast Christian television program Focus on Israel, Cardoza-Moore warned that moral ambiguity empowers extremists. She argued that condemning hatred while tolerating its promoters is incompatible with Christian doctrine and Western democratic values.
She directly challenged Vance for maintaining associations with figures she described as habitual antisemites, including Tucker Carlson. According to Cardoza-Moore, Christian teachings demand accountability based on actions, not rhetoric, and require firm resistance to ideologies that demonize Jews and Israel.
Doubling down, she urged the White House to publicly reject what she called “grifters and Jew-haters” operating on the woke right, naming Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes as corrosive influences whose narratives align with hostile foreign agendas and undermine Judeo-Christian foundations.
Cardoza-Moore contrasted this stance with the record of Donald Trump, asserting that genuine “America First” leadership means standing unapologetically with Israel, confronting antisemitism head-on, and rejecting identity-based hatred pushed by radical movements and complicit Arab regimes.
She noted that she was among the earliest Evangelical leaders to denounce Carlson and Owens, revealing that Carlson personally urged her to retract her criticism—an appeal she rejected as his public hostility toward Jews intensified. Her resignation from the Heritage Foundation Anti-Semitism Taskforce last year underscored her refusal to compromise on defending Israel and the Jewish people.
