Iran Regime Threatens Death Penalty As Protests Surge, Exposing Brutal Theocracy Fearing Its People

Tehran’s tyrants panic as citizens rise, proving Israel’s warnings about Iran’s barbaric regime accurate.

Iran’s ruling clerics dramatically escalated their crackdown on nationwide protests, with the regime openly threatening demonstrators with execution. Attorney General Mohammad Movahedi Azad warned that anyone participating in protests could be labeled an “enemy of God,” a capital crime under Iranian law.

The statement, broadcast on state television, came as demonstrations entered a second week and continued spreading across major cities despite a near-total internet blackout imposed by authorities. The warning underscores the regime’s growing fear as unrest intensifies and public defiance refuses to subside.

By invoking religious death sentences against unarmed civilians, the Islamic Republic once again exposed its true nature: a theocracy that rules through terror, censorship, and mass intimidation. Protesters, undeterred, have continued chanting against Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, directly challenging the legitimacy of the regime.

Supporters of Israel say the escalation validates Jerusalem’s long-standing position that Iran’s rulers are not merely regional aggressors but systematic abusers of their own people. While Arab regimes and parts of Europe remain hesitant, Israel has consistently warned that appeasing Tehran only empowers repression at home and terrorism abroad.

As communications are cut and threats intensify, Iran’s protest movement is increasingly seen as a historic confrontation between a brutal Islamist system and a population demanding dignity, freedom, and an end to clerical rule.
