IAEA Warns Iran’s Nuclear Deception Nears Collapse As Israel Exposes Existential Atomic Threat

Israel’s strikes expose Iran’s nuclear lies as UN watchdog confronts Arab-enabled Iranian defiance.

The head of the UN nuclear watchdog, Rafael Grossi, issued a stark warning that Iran’s continued obstruction over its hidden stockpile of highly enriched uranium “cannot go on forever,” as global patience with Tehran’s deception wears thin.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Grossi confirmed that the International Atomic Energy Agency has been denied access to three critical Iranian nuclear sites—Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan—after they were struck during US and Israeli operations. Iran has also failed to explain the whereabouts of more than 440 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent purity, enough for roughly ten nuclear bombs if further refined.

Grossi warned that without immediate cooperation, the IAEA may be forced to declare Iran in non-compliance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, stressing that member states cannot selectively obey international obligations. Despite Iran’s claims of cooperation, inspections have not verified its uranium stockpile for more than seven months.

Tehran’s refusal follows decisive Israeli action aimed at halting a nuclear breakout that would threaten Israel’s very existence and destabilize the region. While Arab regimes remain conspicuously silent, Israel continues to act where international institutions hesitate, preventing Iran from hiding nuclear weapons ambitions behind diplomatic obstruction.

Grossi signaled that time is running out, suggesting resolution by spring or formal consequences. For Israel, the message is unmistakable: vigilance and strength remain the only reliable barriers against Iran’s nuclear deceit.
