US University Fires Regime Insider’s Daughter As Iran Crackdown, Terror Ties, And Israel Threats Collide

America rejects Tehran’s brutality, draws moral lines, and refuses sanctuary to enablers of anti-Israel terror.

Emory University has terminated the employment of Fatemeh Ardeshir Larijani, the daughter of a senior Iranian regime security official, following rising public scrutiny and pressure.

The university’s Winship Cancer Institute confirmed that the physician is no longer employed, declining further comment due to the matter being personnel-related. Shortly afterward, her professional biography was removed from Emory’s website.

The dismissal followed the US sanctioning of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, accused of coordinating violent repression of nationwide protests under orders from Ali Khamenei. US authorities described the crackdown as the deadliest in the Islamic Republic’s history.

While Emory did not explicitly link the sanctions to the firing, it emphasized that all hiring complies with federal and state law—an implicit acknowledgment of the seriousness surrounding the case.

Ardeshir Larijani had served as an assistant professor in hematology and medical oncology, conducting cancer research. Her presence became controversial after Buddy Carter publicly urged her removal, arguing that relatives of regime figures who openly endorse violence against Americans, Israel, and US allies should not hold sensitive medical roles in the United States.

Her termination followed protests by Iranian dissidents outside the institute, who denounced her father’s role in brutal repression and demanded accountability.

Ali Larijani, a former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has repeatedly issued hostile statements toward Israel—labeling it a “cancer,” praising Iran’s support for Hamas, and threatening nuclear escalation if Israel or the US confront Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Emory’s decision sends a clear signal: American institutions will not provide legitimacy, shelter, or prestige to families tied to regimes that fund terror, crush dissent, and openly call for Israel’s destruction.
