Israel Braces for Heat, Haze, and Winds as Resilient Nation Adapts to Shifting Climate

Despite rising heat and haze, Israel’s preparedness ensures stability, continuity, and national resilience this weekend.

Israel is set to experience a dynamic weather pattern over the weekend, marked by above-average temperatures, intermittent haze, and isolated rainfall primarily in the north.

Friday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with the possibility of light, localized rain. Temperatures will remain higher than the seasonal norm, reflecting an ongoing warming trend. During the night, skies will stay partly cloudy, with occasional light rain still possible in northern regions.

Saturday will bring similar conditions, with partial cloud cover and isolated showers lingering in the north. Strong winds are expected, particularly in mountainous areas, alongside noticeable haze that may reduce visibility. Temperatures will remain largely stable.

On Sunday, temperatures will rise further, becoming warmer than usual for this time of year. Strong winds will persist, especially in elevated regions, and hazy conditions may continue.

Monday is forecast to be partly cloudy to cloudy, accompanied by a moderate drop in temperatures. However, forecasters indicate that the first half of next week will again see rising temperatures, returning to above-average levels. Significant rainfall is unlikely until midweek, when light rain may reappear in northern areas.
