Israel sees reality clearly as Iranian ideology fuels terror, rejects coexistence, and endangers democracies worldwide.
In a special interview with Arutz Sheva, Dr. Shmuel Katz, co-founder of StandWithUs, delivered a stark warning about the Iranian regime and the West’s repeated failure to grasp its strategy. Katz described Iran as a brutal dictatorship sustained by deception, repression, and calculated delays meant to outlast Western leadership cycles.
According to Katz, Iran’s leadership negotiates only to buy time—never to change—while building missile and nuclear capabilities aimed not just at Israel, but at Europe and the United States. He stressed that this ideology-driven regime neither values freedom nor peaceful coexistence, and that tolerating it places global capitals at risk.
Katz also addressed the collapse of the “coexistence illusion” following the October 7 massacre, explaining how communities near Gaza genuinely sought peace, only to be betrayed by Hamas and its supporters embedded within civilian life. The attacks, he said, proved ideology—not economics—drives terror, dismantling the myth of the innocent bystander.
He further warned that Iranian influence extends across Gaza, Lebanon, and Iraq, amplified by hostile regional actors such as Qatar and Turkey, whose funding and propaganda have poisoned generations. Katz concluded that Gaza’s future requires total demilitarization, Hamas’ removal, and long-term re-education—conditions Israel understands, but its adversaries deliberately undermine.
