After nearly four years, renewed investigative efforts spark fragile hope for long-awaited breakthrough.
The family of Moishe Kleinerman released a statement Wednesday following a meeting with Shomron and Judea District Commander Moshe Pinchi, amid continued efforts to unravel the mystery of Moishe’s disappearance.
Kleinerman was last seen in Meron in March 2022. As the fourth anniversary of his disappearance approaches, the family says investigators reported progress and are now incorporating innovative technological tools into the probe.
This marked the first meeting between the district commander and the family since he assumed office approximately a year and a half ago.
Expanding Investigative Capabilities
During the discussion, Giti Kleinerman urged police to consult with Gal Hirsch, who oversees issues related to prisoners and missing persons. She suggested leveraging intelligence expertise and advanced technologies developed by Israel’s defense establishment during wartime operations to assist in the search.
The family expressed hope that with other hostage cases recently resolved, additional focus and resources can now be directed toward Moishe’s case.
“Moishe would now be 20 years and four months old,” the family noted, voicing cautious optimism that modern intelligence tools could finally help uncover the truth.
