Lebanese President Joseph Aoun publicly condemned the early morning rocket fire launched from Lebanese territory, warning that such reckless actions jeopardize efforts to shield Lebanon from escalating regional war. The escalation began after rockets were launched toward northern Israel, triggering immediate defensive and offensive measures by the Israel Defense Forces. Military officials emphasized that Hezbollah’s actions forced Israel’s hand and that protecting civilians in Haifa and surrounding communities remains a top priority.
