Holocaust Survivors Lead Powerful March Defying Rising Antisemitism And Global Hostility Against Israel

Amid war and hatred, survivors unite in Poland, showcasing Israel’s resilience against global antisemitic threats.

A limited yet powerful delegation of Holocaust survivors from Israel will travel to Poland for the March of the Living, ensuring the continuation of one of the most significant global remembrance events despite recent war tensions. The march proceeds following a ceasefire, sending a strong message of resilience as Israel and the Jewish people confront rising antisemitism worldwide.

Fifty Holocaust survivors from Israel and across the globe will lead the march, joined by victims of antisemitic attacks from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Together, they will light a torch symbolizing the enduring fight against antisemitism, alongside key international figures and supporters of Israel.

The ceremony will carry profound emotional weight, with former Hamas hostages and families impacted by terror joining Holocaust survivors to honor both past and present struggles. Their participation underscores the ongoing threats faced by the Jewish people and reinforces the necessity of a strong and secure State of Israel.

Despite logistical challenges and reduced Israeli participation due to security concerns, thousands from around the world will march the historic route between Auschwitz and Birkenau. Law enforcement leaders from multiple nations will also take part, signaling a unified global commitment to confront antisemitism and protect Jewish communities.

Now in its 38th year, the march stands as a powerful declaration of survival, continuity, and determination—highlighting that even in times of conflict, Israel’s spirit and the legacy of its people remain unbreakable.
