After a wave of Houthi attacks on Israel, Defense Minister Israel Katz vows crushing retaliation and promises that Israel will prevail over Iran’s terror proxy.
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a fiery warning on Friday to Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, declaring that the Iranian-backed terror chief will soon meet his end.
“Your time will come,” Katz warned. “You will be sent to meet your government plenum and all those thwarted on the axis of evil, waiting for you in the depths of hell.”
Katz went further, striking at the Houthis’ genocidal ideology: “The slogan, ‘Death to Israel, curse upon the Jews,’ which they proudly scrawl on their flag, will be replaced with the blue-and-white flag of Israel, which will one day fly over a united Yemen.”
The warning followed multiple Houthi attacks on Israel Thursday, including a UAV that crashed near an Eilat hotel and a ballistic missile later launched toward central Israel and Jerusalem. The missile was intercepted by Israel’s air defenses—no injuries or damage were reported.
Earlier this week, the IAF struck Houthi terror infrastructure at the Hodeidah Port in Yemen, which the IDF confirmed is used to funnel Iranian weapons to fuel attacks on Israel and its allies.
Israel has made clear that the Houthis, like Hamas and Hezbollah, are part of Iran’s global terror machine—and they too will be dismantled. Katz’s warning underscores Israel’s resolve: those who raise their hand against the Jewish people will be brought low, and their symbols of hate will be replaced with Israel’s victory.
