Dutch firebrand Geert Wilders ridicules France’s decision to recognize Palestine, calling it a gift to terrorists and warning of Europe’s “Islamic suicide.”
Outspoken Dutch politician Geert Wilders unleashed a scathing response on Friday to French President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement that France will officially recognize the state of “Palestine.” His message? France is handing a victory to terrorists and walking blindly toward cultural and political destruction.
“Here will be the new Palestinian State. Big parts of France are already Islamic anyway,” Wilders posted on X, sarcastically captioning a map of southern France.

He didn’t stop there.
“Good luck Emmanuel Macron and France! Happy suicide! The Netherlands will close its borders immediately,” he declared.
🇳🇱 “Jordan = Palestine”: Wilders Rejects Two-State Farce
In an earlier post, Wilders tore into Macron’s move as a reward for Hamas after its brutal October 7th massacre of Israeli civilians.
“France rewards the Islamic terrorists of Hamas for their October 7th massacre by recognizing the ‘Palestinian state.’ The Netherlands must NEVER do that. There already is a Palestinian state: Jordan = Palestine!”
🇮🇱 A Loyal Ally of Israel
A vocal supporter of Israel, Wilders has consistently stood against radical Islam and in favor of the Jewish state’s right to defend itself. In a direct rebuke to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Wilders previously wrote:
“You are a psychopath, a dangerous maniac… a sick person who will lose because democracy and freedom will win. We will always support Israel.”
Last year, in an impassioned speech in the Dutch Parliament, he made his stance clear:
“Radical Muslims are out to destroy the Jewish State and kill its inhabitants. For me and my party, it is not difficult to choose. We stand with Israel — until the very end.”
⚠️ The European Divide Widens
France’s recognition of Palestine has reignited fierce political divides across Europe. While Paris takes a step embraced by some international actors, Wilders and his Party for Freedom (PVV) represent a growing European bloc that sees such recognition as legitimizing terrorism and eroding Western values.
