Prime minister praises aircrews, vows relentless force against Tehran regime and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Palmachim Airbase on Tuesday, accompanied by Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir.
At the start of the visit, Netanyahu received a detailed operational briefing before meeting UAV operators and technical crews participating in Operation Roaring Lion. He praised both combat personnel and support teams for what he described as extraordinary performance in both defensive and offensive missions.
“I am here at the Air Force base with the Minister of Defense, the IDF Chief of Staff, the commanders, and the men and women fighters,” Netanyahu stated. “They are doing amazing work — work that not only amazes the enemy, but amazes me as well.”
He emphasized that the entire nation should salute the forces protecting Israeli citizens while striking “the murderers and their dispatchers in Iran.”
Netanyahu confirmed that Israeli pilots are operating over Iran and Tehran, as well as in Lebanese airspace. Addressing escalating tensions with Hezbollah, he warned that the group had made a “very grave mistake” by attacking Israel.
“We have already responded with great force, and we will respond with even greater, additional force,” he said, urging the Lebanese government and citizens to recognize that Hezbollah is dragging them into a conflict not of their choosing.
“We are on the fourth day of Operation Roaring Lion,” Netanyahu concluded. “We are roaring, and we are operating.”
Israel’s leadership signaled unwavering determination to continue sustained military pressure as the regional confrontation intensifies.
