Victim of Gush Etzion Terror Attack Identified as Shalev Zevuloni, 22, of Kiryat Arba
It has been cleared for publication that the victim of Thursday’s brutal terror attack at the Rami Levi shopping complex near the Gush Etzion Junction was Shalev Zevuloni, a 22-year-old resident of Kiryat Arba-Hebron.
Zevuloni was attacked by two terrorists who stabbed him multiple times and fatally shot him—apparently using his own handgun, which they had seized during the assault. An armed civilian and an IDF soldier acted swiftly, neutralizing the assailants at the scene.
The Kiryat Arba Municipality issued a heartfelt statement mourning the young man’s loss:
“Kiryat Arba-Hebron bows its head and extends condolences to the Zevuloni and Ozel families on the murder of their son, Shalev Zevuloni. On behalf of all the town’s residents, we send our deepest condolences and a warm embrace to the dear family during this time of immense grief.”
The Gush Etzion Regional Council also released a message of solidarity and sorrow:
“The council mourns the murder of Shalev Zevuloni, who was killed in today’s heinous terror attack at the Gush Etzion Junction. We extend our condolences to the Zevuloni family and embrace his father, Shai—who is a valued council employee. The council stands beside the family and will continue to support them in every possible way.”
This tragic attack has cast a heavy shadow over both the Kiryat Arba and Gush Etzion communities, which now come together in mourning, unity, and resolve. The loss of Shalev—a young man just beginning his journey—has left a void that echoes far beyond the site of the attack.
