At a fiery NEWSMAX event in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel is battling on eight fronts — seven against Iran and its proxies, and one against a global campaign of disinformation.
Speaking before a packed audience at NEWSMAX’s Jerusalem event, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a blistering address, warning that Israel is waging an unprecedented “eight-front war” — seven military fronts against Iran and its terror network, and one critical fight for “the truth.”
“There is only one way to beat the lies, and that’s with the truth,” Netanyahu said.
Taking Aim at Gaza ‘Starvation’ and ‘Genocide’ Claims
Netanyahu rejected accusations that Israel enforces a starvation policy in Gaza, calling it “absurd” and “the opposite of reality.”
“The only deliberate starvation policy in Gaza is the starving of our hostages by Hamas,” he said, contrasting emaciated Israeli captives with their well-fed terrorist guards.
He accused Hamas and the Iranian axis of genocidal intent, not Israel:
“The genocidal element is Hamas… the Iranian axis openly calls for the annihilation of Israel and many Jews.”
Separating Civilians from Combatants
Netanyahu said Israel’s military efforts are unique in modern warfare, pointing to millions of warning calls and text messages urging civilians to evacuate battle zones — often while Hamas shoots them for trying to leave.
He emphasized that Israel has facilitated 1.9 million tons of food and medical aid into Gaza in the nearly two years since the war began:
“If we had a starvation policy, everyone in Gaza would be dead. They’re not — because that’s not our policy.”
The prime minister announced a “humanitarian surge”, doubling or even quadrupling safeguarded aid distribution points.
Calling Out Media ‘Lies’
Netanyahu singled out The New York Times for publishing misleading photos of allegedly starving children, which he said actually depicted rare genetic illnesses. Two of the children, he noted, had received medical care in Israeli hospitals — one flown to Italy for treatment and recovery.
He compared today’s propaganda to historical antisemitic libels — from medieval well-poisoning accusations to the blood libels and Nazi lies before the Holocaust:
“Then we had no defense. Now we have a country, an army — and we fight back against our tormenters.”
A Warning to the Free World
Closing his remarks, Netanyahu issued a stark message:
“If you’re not ready to fight for your freedom, you will lose it. If you do not fight for your civilization, you will lose it.”
